Welcome to the Business Skills Academy, a group of world-class learning providers with a proven track-record of excellence in skills provision for employers in the South West.
We are wholly employer-led. Our focus is on working with UK businesses to set an independent national standard for business skills training content, advice and delivery.
The role of the Business Skills Academy represents an exciting development in the way employees are trained and prepared for work. Each employer will work in partnership with local government and leading learning providers from public and private sectors.
Each learning provider is responsible for providing funding advice, training needs analyses and delivery of qualifications and professional development programmes.
Training is developed in conjunction with employers to ensure that it has the biggest possible impact on learners. This leads to greater long-term productivity and profitability for the employers involved.
